External appearance

Peppers cut into cubes have different geometric shapes; uneven edges are allowed. The product is clean, healthy, not damaged by agricultural pests and diseases.

Colour is yellow, red, green, melange depending on the variety of pepper; colour deviation of up to 10% is allowed. Smell is typical for sweet pepper varieties, distinctive sweet taste with a pleasant bitterness. Foreign flavours, odours and impurities are not allowed. The consistency in the thawed state is quite dense, close to the consistency of fresh pepper, a slight softening of the product is allowed.
