External appearance

Onions are cut into circles of up to 50 mm in diameter and cubes of 10*10 mm in size; cubes have a different geometric shape;  uneven edges are allowed. Presence of together frozen cubes and circles not exceeding 10%, which easily crumble under light pressure, is allowed. The product is clean, healthy, not damaged by agricultural pests and diseases.

Colour is white, cream, red, purple, taste is bitter-sweet, sharp, smell is typical for onions. Foreign flavours, odours and impurities are not allowed. Consistency in the thawed state is quite dense, close to the consistency of fresh onion, a slight softening of the product is allowed.

Carbohydrates – 8.2 g

Of which sugars –  8.1 g

Fibre – 3.0 g

Energy value – 41 kcal (171.5 kJ).

Storage conditions and shelf life: 24 months at a temperature not exceeding minus 18°С and relative humidity not more than 95%.
