Carrots are cut into cubes of 10*10 mm in size; cubes have a different geometric shape; uneven edges are allowed. Presence of together frozen cubes not exceeding 10% is allowed. The product is blanched or not blanched, clean, healthy, not damaged by agricultural pests and diseases.
Colour is from yellow to orange of different shades, taste and smell are typical for carrots after heat treatment in the stage of harvest maturity. Foreign flavours, odours and impurities are not allowed. Consistency in the thawed state is quite dense, close to the consistency of fresh carrot, a slight softening of the product is allowed.
